Beschreibung

It is always the slopes of the Butte. But beyond the sculpture of the Passe-Muraille - the place where lived Marcel Ayme - begins Avenue Junot. With its Art Deco-style cubic mansions: unfussy architecture, beauty in pure forms, harmonious volumes, such as No. 15, which was built in 1926 for the Dada poet Tristan Tzara. The scenery changes after a few more houses. Villa Leander, between two rows of Anglo-Norman pavilions, has red and white bricks, painted shutters, arbors and London operetta gardens, so you feel as though you are walking through a fairy tale.
