Some visits are scheduled on specific dates, others can be made all year round, but in nearly all cases you need to book in advance, whether you are coming independently or as a group.

And then, every two year in October there is the Journées des Métiers d'Art, (Artists Open Days) where several hundred artists and craftspeople open their studios and workshops to the public: a unique occasion to visit places which are normally inaccessible the rest of the year and the chance to learn more about traditional and innovative techniques.
