Handball is far from being a schoolboy sport, as you will realise when you watch the Paris Handball club in action at Coubertin...

these pros will demonstrate exactly how competitive a sport this is during their matches every weekend. 40-metre passes, fast strikes, impossible shots, tough defence tactics and reflex stops: all the most spectacular handball techniques will be on display every week in locations throughout the country and every fortnight in the capital.
Like all the major European capitals, Paris has its own handball team: a leading one. Last season excepted, since 1999 the team has consistently featured in the top five of the tough French championship, where skilled teams such as Montpellier, Ivry and Chambery vie for top place.
The Paris Handball players and coach Thierry Anti have set themselves the challenge of bringing the trophy they last won in 1974 home to the capital.
To achieve that objective, the club is counting on its finest players Alexandar Stanojevic, Olivier Girault and Robert Lis as well as highly vocal audience support from season ticket holders and occasional spectators at the legendary Stade Pierre de Coubertin.
