Football club Paris Saint-Germain has had another season of ups-and-downs, finishing a disappointing fifteenth in the French League championship despite the spark of ...

hope that followed their victory in the 2006 French Cup. The bright future the players were hoping for never materialised. Fans of the French capital’s top club are now looking to the 2007-2008 season to provide redemption and a return to the values that once made PSG the best football club in France - a challenge that the club’s players and managers have taken up with alacrity.
The trophy-rich club, which has been trying for some years now to revive its glorious past (French League champions in 1986 and 1994, European Cup winners in 1996 and constantly present on the list of the top European clubs) has made sure it now holds all the aces to go after the trophies.
Some very promising players such as Clémént and Luyundula have joined the club’s excellent line-up (Rothen, Pauleta, Landreau, Yepes etc), while coach Paul Le Guen has earned himself a solid reputation. Indeed, today’s players may well end up being tomorrow’s football legends.
The PSG is once again aiming for top billing - and counting on football fans to cheer it on at the club stadium at Parc des Princes. Look forward to some exciting, suspenseful and action-packed matches!
